Fire Ready provides wildfire prevention and tree services, specializing in homes and small acreages. Fire Ready mitigates wildfire hazards by creating defensible space around homes in the wildland urban interface; removing hazard trees; thinning weakened, dead, and overcrowded trees; removing ladder fuels; and chipping slash. Fire Ready uses equipment including a large capacity brush chipper, chainsaws, power pole pruner, clearing saw, various climbing and rigging equipment. We work in all weather conditions. This work is extremely physical and heavy lifting is required. This position is seasonal. On-the-job and advanced training opportunities are possible.
