About Us
Fire Ready of Salida was started by Angie Jenson. She is a five-year veteran of wildland firefighting. Her background started with a four-year degree in Environmental Studies at Utah State University. Her on-the-ground experience includes working multiple seasons on hot shot crews, engine crews, helitac, and hand crews. She has fought fire in over 15 states as well as spent a season in Australia as a helicopter hover-exit crew member. Angie's broad range of fire and saw experience makes her an ideal branch office owner.
