About Us
Abe Fischer is an outdoor enthusiast and a business-minded individual.

This Colorado native was born in Leadville and raised in Golden. Shortly after moving to the Western Slope and receiving his BA from Western State College located in Gunnison, Abe launched his own business - Fire Ready of Crested Butte. Since its inauguration in 2004, Fire Ready of Crested Butte has been credited with creating defensible space and healthy forest communities throughout Gunnison County. His reputation for knowledge, skill, and hard work stretches from the peaks of Crested Butte to the urban town center of Gunnison and beyond. Due to an increase in demand, Abe has added tree planting and tree trimming to his package of services.

"We create appealing landscapes by offering a wide variety of services that benefit folks who live in the woods as well as folks who live in town centers.
