About Us
Andrew Notbohm has lived in Colorado off and on for close to a decade. He joined the Fire Ready network in 2002 after experiencing the devastation of wildfire firsthand. During the Missionary Ridge Fire in Durango, Andrew was program director of a wilderness adventure camp where he helped coordinate the camp's evacuation and led community outreach efforts for people whose lives were impacted by the fire.
Andrew enjoys working with communities
and individuals to improve the health of their landscapes
and better protect their homes from wildfire. When not working,
Andrew enjoys backpacking, climbing, flyfishing, and playing
guitar. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison
with a degree in geography. Locally, Andrew is involved
with Pikes Peak Wildfire Protection Partners.

Say About the Colorado Springs Office
I highly recommend
Andrew Notbohm of Fire Ready for any fire mitigation projects.
Andrew and his crews have accomplished several projects
in our community, and their work has never failed to exceed
our expectations. Since August of 2004, Andrew has
been the only contractor used by our Association to help
with our annual community-wide fire mitigation efforts.
The professionalism of Andrew and his crews has not only
completely satisfied our requirements at a reasonable cost,
it has inspired many individual homeowners to use Fire Ready
for work on their private lots ... the work of Andrew and
Fire Ready has been superb.

Our HOA
has contracted with Fire Ready for the past four years ...
I will not use another company. I have always found
Andrew to be professional in his manner to me and all of
our homeowners that he has had contact with.
We own 80
acres of common area and have relied on Andrew to provide
us with the best course of action as to help us make our
neighborhood safer from the danger of wildfire. He
has taken on areas that were extremely tough to access and
with his hardworking crew got into the task at hand and
got it completed.
There are
others in Colorado Springs that say they do wildfire mitigation,
but you will find no one who does it better or with such
passion.

Common Area Director, A Local Homeowner's Association
